BackgroundIn 2011, the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry established its 10-year vision that it will be ‘a global leader in optimizing life-long health through innovations in research, education and active engagement with our communities'. During the past six years, the School has experienced the most aggressive period of recruitment of new researchers in the history of the School. 'Bringing Our Vision to Life' highlights the strategic investment in these brilliant and talented people.

SummaryThe 'Bringing Our Vision to Life' report was a labour of love. The concept for this stakeholder marketing piece was to create a piece that helped to highlight the unique and individual personalities of each person, and to feature the human behind the research. The photos of each of the 23 featured researchers were all taken separately in order to accommodate for their busy schedules. After the photoshoots were complete and the final images were chosen, each person was digitally retouched and edited. In total, 46 separate photos were retouched, adjusted and blended together to create the illusion of people in an environment that didn't actually exist.
