Background

The Dean's Gala – part of Schulich Medicine & Dentistry's Homecoming Weekend celebrations – celebrates the excellence, innovation and leadership found within the School's alumni. The Alumni of Distinction Awards are also presented at the gala, and recognize alumni who have made outstanding contributions to the School, the community, and their profession.

Summary

The Homecoming Weekend celebrations, Dean's Gala and the Alumni of Distinction awards are an important part of Schulich Medicine & Dentistry's spirit. This unique hand-drawn design suite was created to recognize the award winners in a special way. The gala invitation also features a hand-drawn timeline of events and people that make the School what it is today. The result of this design was a striking, one-of-a-kind design series that honoured the School's alumni and their achievements.
